So deep in emotion’s wash today. My life, ebbing and flowing in and out like pooling, summer tides sliding and smoothing out the fine lines on sandy shores. Sea gulls dart to and fro their shrill calls piercing my mind as they fly high on the drifting currents. I close my eyes and find myself swept away as I drift through spiritual and timeless depths of you and me; years before the storm. I can almost feel your warm colors, so close… I am almost there. But as suddenly as they came, the whispers that promised to take me, wash away in the morning light, the spell broken. And once again I am left behind. But one day soon I will fly away.
